Pastor Jeff Addison

Wife: Christina Addison

Pastor Jeff Addison has served as the Senior Pastor of Ridgemont Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas, since October 2009 and has been serving in pastoral ministry since March 1999. He is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through faithful, Christ-centered, expository preaching and sound biblical teaching.

With a heart for evangelism, discipleship, and missions, Pastor Jeff seeks to equip believers with a deeper understanding of God's Word so they can live with discernment, spiritual maturity, and confidence in sharing the gospel. His teaching emphasizes both biblical truth and practical Christian living, always pointing people to the hope and grace found in Jesus Christ.

Jeff has been married to his wife, Christina, since September 1989. Together they have three married children and are blessed with seven grandchildren. Jeff and Christina cherish their growing family and consider being parents and grandparents among God's greatest blessings.

Youth Minister - Derek Blanton

Wife: Lisa Blanton

Derek Blanton serves as the Youth Minister at The Ridge and is passionate about helping students build a strong foundation in God’s Word and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

As a husband, father, grandfather, and U.S. Air Force veteran, Derek has a heart for biblical teaching, discipleship, and equipping the next generation to live faithfully for Christ.

He and his wife, Lisa, have been married since 2009 and are blessed with four children: Abriana, Brooke, Lauren, and Noah. Their family has continued to grow with the addition of Abriana’s husband, Luke, and their son, Malachi. Derek considers it a privilege to serve the church and help young people understand and apply the truth of Scripture in their daily lives.
